My name is Nguyen. I am a Catholic Korean-Vietnamese mother of 3 married to a firefighter/paramedic. I love, in no particular order: family, puns and bad jokes, libraries, feeding people to the point of buttons popping off, reading, Outlander, movies, Nutella, science, my work, and poetry. I make no apology in advance for my unrelenting nerdiness.
I believe in a loving, merciful God, the power of grace, and the innate goodness of people. I hope this will be a place for people to meet without judgment or fear, to share all that is wacky and beautiful, and inherently imperfect about being human in this wide, wide world of wonders.
Tell All The Truth
Tell all the truth but tell it slant,
Success in circuit lies,
Too bright for our infirm delight
The truth’s superb surprise; As lightning to the children eased
With explanation kind,
The truth must dazzle gradually
